I am a Ph.D. student of political science at the Pennsylvania State University, where I received my M.A. in May of 2016. Previously I studied at the University of Illinois, where I received my B.A. in Political Science in 2014.
My research focuses on human rights and related topics, with a particular interest in the processes by which states are held accountable for human rights violations and the process by which these violations are documented. You can find out more about my work by visiting my research page. Some of my current projects include data collection of government purges, modeling the rebel decision to repress or accommodate civilians, and exploring factors that make people more likely to support restrictions on domestic rights.
